ӳ����ý

Midsummer Nights’ Science has become an annual tradition at the ӳ����ý, and this year our first lecture in the series offers something extra special: a panel discussion featuring several luminaries from the world of chemical biology and drug discovery. This is the first panel discussion in the history of the series and promises to be a thought-provoking conversation about drug discovery and how we might mitigate suffering from disease in the future.

Stuart Schreiber, director of the ӳ����ý’s Center for the Science of Therapeutics (or CSofT as it’s known around here), is one of the five speakers who will take the stage at the ӳ����ý on Wednesday, July 10, at 6 p.m. He will be joined by CSofT leaders Jay Bradner, Aly Shamji, Mike Foley, and Brian Hubbard, with Vivian Siegel, director of education and outreach, moderating the discussion.

Below is an excerpt from a video in which Schreiber describes the aspirations of the Center and the impact that he and his colleagues hope to have on health care. We hope that the video will entice you to join us on Wednesday for a fun evening. As always, Midsummer Nights’ Science lectures are free and open to the public, but we ask that you to reserve your spot.
