The ӳý is a Working Mother 100 Best Company

Working Mother magazine has recognized the ӳý as one of its 100 Best Companies for our leadership in creating progressive programs in the areas of advancement of women, flexibility, childcare, and paid parental leave.

The ӳý earned this distinction in part because of its policies on professional development, paid parental leave, working hours, and exceptional benefits to support new parents, including childcare financial assistance. (.)

“All caregivers, and especially parents, must balance an extraordinary number of responsibilities,” said Andy Porter, Chief People Officer. “It’s critical to promote a culture where everyone has the opportunity to flourish at home and work. We are proud to be recognized by Working Mother for our efforts, because we are committed to building a culture that allows every ӳýie to thrive.”

“With input from the community, the ӳý’s leadership and administration worked with members of our deeply engaged group, Women@ӳý to understand—and implement—the kinds of policies that would make the biggest difference for working parents,” said Eric Lander, President and Director of the ӳý. “We couldn’t be more thrilled that the innovative, impactful programs that grew out of these discussions are now being recognized nationally."
