The Ó³»´«Ã½ Summer Scholars Program (BSSP) invites highly motivated high school students with a strong interest in science to spend six weeks at six weeks at the Ó³»´«Ã½.
We match students with Ó³»´«Ã½ scientists to conduct original, cutting-edge research projects in areas such as: cancer biology, psychiatric disease, chemical biology, computational biology, infectious disease, and more. In addition to original research, students will get to explore scientific careers; attend interesting scientific talks; present their research to the Ó³»´«Ã½ community in a scientific poster session; attend a college fair; participate in fun social events; and meet other students who share similar interests.

The application period for the 2026 Ó³»´«Ã½ Summer Scholars Program has closed. All applicants received notification of their selection status on March 20, 2026 via email. Please note that we are not accepting letters of continued interest at this time.
