The Ó³»´«Ã½ Summer Scholars Program (BSSP) invites highly motivated high school students with a strong interest in science to spend six weeks at six weeks at the Ó³»´«Ã½.
We match students with Ó³»´«Ã½ scientists to conduct original, cutting-edge research projects in areas such as: cancer biology, psychiatric disease, chemical biology, computational biology, infectious disease, and more. In addition to original research, students will get to explore scientific careers; attend interesting scientific talks; present their research to the Ó³»´«Ã½ community in a scientific poster session; attend a college fair; participate in fun social events; and meet other students who share similar interests.
To be eligible to apply to BSSP, applicants must:
Students with limited exposure to STEM are especially encouraged to apply.
The application period for the 2026 Ó³»´«Ã½ Summer Scholars Program has closed. We will notify all applicants of their selection status in mid to late March.
