Our Informatics team manages a portfolio of software solutions that support internal and external collaborations for therapeutic discovery. These solutions are integrated through centralized laboratory information and scientific data management systems (LIMS and SDMS), which connect the various software components of the drug discovery workflow.
The software components are structured around:
Project management and data security: Membership in projects is the baseline security layer for all data access (including for compounds and related biological assay data) within CDoT's environments and applications.
Compound registration, management, and inventory: Physical samples are available for distribution (pending security permission) and can be requested through our Compound Management group.
Screening and in vitro assay data collection and analysis: For flexible and efficient data management workflow.
Electronic record keeping: We use a single electronic notebook system to record all chemistry and biology experiments, both for on-site work and for synthesis at CROs.
Cheminformatics visualization and analysis: A variety of cheminformatics tools are available to all CDoT members and collaborators, and are controlled by our project and data security safeguards.
Computational chemistry and structural biology: Available tools include PyMol and MOE.
